Name Server Misconfiguration
Incident Report for ESEA
Resolved
On May 5 at approximately 11:30am UTC, there was a misconfiguration deployed to several of our domain names during a migration. This was the result of a migration of our domain names to a new registrar. Unfortunately, during this migration, some name servers were mistakenly updated to different name servers used within other ESL products.

The correct configuration was deployed after the misconfiguration, however, DNS propagation can cause the issue to be prolonged for some users.

During the incident, all ESEA services were impacted for most users. Some experienced being redirected to eslgaming.com or simply the inability to reach our network (Client/Servers/Website). Connectivity has since been restored for most users. If you are still having trouble connecting, we recommend trying another DNS provider (e.g. Google DNS, Cloudflare DNS, OpenDNS, etc) and attempting to connect again.
